MomDoc Women's Health Research is serving as a clinical site for the pivotal contraceptive efficacy study of Ovaprene—a trial that could fundamentally change the landscape of hormone-free birth control.

The Science of "Hormone-Free"

Ovaprene is an investigational monthly, non-hormonal intravaginal ring. It represents a completely different approach to preventing pregnancy, aiming to provide reliability without systemic side effects. According to the study protocol, this research represents a critical evaluation:

"This will be a multi-center, single arm, open-label study of Ovaprene, a non-hormonal intravaginal ring, to investigate the contraceptive effectiveness, safety and acceptability of Ovaprene."

Who Can Participate?

We are currently enrolling sexually active women (ages 18-40) who meet the following key criteria:

• You are actively desiring contraception but not desiring pregnancy for at least 13 months.
• You have regular menstrual cycles and are willing to stop your current method of contraception.
• You are in a relationship with a male partner not known to be subfertile.
• You are willing to use Ovaprene as your sole method of contraception during the study.

Participation in MomDoc clinical trials is always voluntary, always free, and often includes compensation for time and travel.
