This prospective, multi-center, open-label study is rigorously evaluating how well this new design performs in the real world. As per the official trial protocol:

"To assess the contraceptive efficacy (prevention of pregnancy) of VeraCept, a Long-Acting Reversible Intrauterine Contraceptive for Contraceptive Efficacy, Safety, and Tolerability."

Who Can Participate?

We are seeking pre-menopausal women (ages 18-45) who meet the following key criteria:

• You are seeking to avoid pregnancy and are willing to use the study drug as your sole form of contraception for the duration of the study.
• You have a history of regular menstrual cycles (21-35 days).
• You are sexually active in a mutually monogamous relationship of at least 3 months.
• You do not have a history of previous IUS complications (like perforation or expulsion) or severe, unexplained uterine bleeding.

Participation in MomDoc clinical trials is always voluntary, always free, and often includes compensation for time and travel.
